Mother and son: Gwen walks down the runway with Kingston during her L.A.M.B fashion show in New York for the final day of fashion week


It was the final day of New York Fashion week and Gwen Stefani finished the event with a bang by strutting down the catwalk alongside her son Kingston.

The platinum blonde fashion designer was showing her L.A.M.B collection during the Mercedes-Benz Autumn/Winter Fashion Week, but Kingston seemed to steal the show from his mother.

Kingston, four, took to the runway with vigour as he held his 41-year-old mother’s hand during the presentation.

Gwen wore one of her own leopard print jumpsuits, while her son took inspiration from his rock star father Gavin Rossdale as he sported a punk-styled half shaved hairdo.

The singer and designer’s collections were displayed on six groups of models, each with a different soundtrack

And it was the third time that Kingston has joined Gwen on the runway, as he first appeared in her L.A.M.B show in 2007 when he was only one.

The youngster might have a career in modelling set out for him if he continues to enjoy the spotlight so much.

Gwen’s other models made their mark on the catwalk too, but one for the wrong reasons when she broke a heel midway through her routine.

Calvin Klein was another big event during the final day of the Big Apple’s event, which saw celebrity followers Kate Bosworth, Kerry Washington and Zoe Saldana in the front row.

Miss Bosworth looked elegant in a bright orange classic mini-dress accompanied with pointed black shoe boots.

Fellow actress Zoe Saldana also kept her outfit simple in a little black dress, while Miss Washington went for a bright blue ensemble.

The Calvin Klein show consisted of a number of shift dresses and coats in earthy tones of green, brown and grey.
